Family Law
Family Law
There are few legal issues with the potential to be more contentious and upsetting than divorce. Divorce is often intertwined with complex financial disputes, real estate, and business issues. W&N understands this and strives to help our clients navigate through this difficult time with as little conflict and stress as possible.
Often times, however, family law does not mean a “divorce.” Many clients seek to protect their assets to ensure that if divorce does occur, it will not result in a messy financial dispute. This can often be accomplished through carefully tailored prenuptial agreements, whether for a marriage involving a client who has accumulated or inherited substantial assets prior to the marriage, a second marriage or the marriage of a child of a client who has substantial assets and wants to pass on those assets during his lifetime without fear that it will be lost in a contentious divorce. W&N has substantial experience preparing complex prenuptial and postnuptial agreements in all of these situations to protect their client’s wealth and assets.
