Negligence and Medical Malpractice
Negligence and Medical Malpractice
Anytime a person is injured due to the wrongful act of another - whether in an automobile accident or medical malpractice - it can be described as a “negligence” case. Victims of negligence are entitled to compensation for the damages they suffer as a result of someone’s negligence.
For nearly four decades, W&N has been a tenacious and successful advocate for their clients and recovered tens of millions of dollars in damages for them, including a $15 million settlement in a medical malpractice case against the United States Government. These cases have ranged from motor vehicle accident cases to complex wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, elevator and construction accidents. W&N has built a reputation for successfully litigating these cases in the state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia and have won cases in the appellate courts which have helped change the laws to protect the rights of victims.
